When Particles Collide
When Particles Collide
Sasha and Chris met in Bangor Maine during a 2010 local production of Hedwig and the Angry Inch. Sasha was cast as a guitar playing Yitzhak and Chris played Schlatko, the band's drummer. Six months later the two were a band, and three years later the band became a marriage.

Since forming in 2010, When Particles Collide has self-released five sets of recordings: a six song demo, a four song EP, a ten song full length, a five song EP and a nine song full length. Their most recent recording, Photoelectric (June 2014) was released both digitally, on CD and on special limited edition pink vinyl.

Sasha and Chris tour the US extensively and during 2012, 2013 and 2014 averaged between 70-95 shows per year. During the summer of 2014 they completed a marathon 8 week, coast to coast tour of the entire US. All of their booking and promoting, like their recordings are 100% D.I.Y. keeping the American spirit of self-reliance, tenacity and resourcefulness alive and well.

The music of When Particles Collide includes Southern Rock choruses, New Wave a la Blondie vocals, lightning speed Green Day-esque drumming, classic Motown grooves and Queens of the Stone Age-style riffs -- and yet somehow it all sounds like Chris and Sasha.
Kristen Ford
Kristen Ford
Kristen Ford delivers a high energy set of indie rock. She lives for live performance, her passion and charisma shining forth on stage both solo or with her band. Her hooks will linger in your mind, blending genres from folk to reggae to rock. Where she's from is a long story. Let's just say Boston was home for five years, and she's currently on the road full time, which feels just as homey as anywhere.

Lords of the Highway
Lords of the Highway
Lords of the Highway from Cleveland, Ohio have been tearin' up asphalt since 1990, bringing you hillbilly punk rock that knocks ya flat, runs ya over, and doesn't look back.
The Lords have hauled along the highway from NYC's CBGB's to honky tonk dives in the hills, playing with the likes of Reverend Horton Heat, Southern Culture on the Skids, Hank III, Th' Legendary Shack Shakers, Dick Dale, Nekromantix, Tiger Army, El Vez, Hasil Adkins, Lee Rocker, Ray Condo, and many others - not to mention countless of kick ass punk bands.
They've played events including Daytona's Bike Week, and are regulars at the biggest baddest party in this hemisphere, Heavy Rebel Weekender in Winston-Salem, NC.
The Lords are also no strangers to the big & little screens, having appeared in the Campbell Brothers motion picture 'The Red Skulls'(2006) as well as being contestants on the TV show 'The Next Great American Band'. On the show, The Lords cut the mustard at the LA. tryouts only to be given the boot by Sheila E. & Goo Goo Dolls front man John Rzeznik. Yes, Sheila E. (who everyone knows is a true a rock connoisseur) You also can find the Lords music as soundtracks for 6 other independent films, and the band also has a DVD of their music videos,

On a November Saturday in 2010 a band known as Honeymoon formed in Columbus OH, practiced a 6 song set that Sunday, and performed their first show opening up for So Many Dynamos that Wednesday.

One could call it an experiment, however an experiment into something more... straight forward.

Tinged in New Wave, surf rock, and dark pop, the performance would be a major departure from the organic and brooding indie album Carnivore by the band's frontman (solo artist Jonathan Hape).

This experiment, however volatile and green, was not a horrific mistake but instead the first musical foothold in a long time for both Hape (guitar/vocals) and his long time multi-instrumentalist Nick Baker (whittling it down to just bass guitar for this project) as well as a new adventure for Andy Foster (drums/photography).

The band used this enthusiasm and spontaneity to locally release a live demo entitled Xyloglophy. The album, recorded at the bands 4th rehearsal, would prove a substantial jumping off point for the trio.

During the second weekend of sessions for their debut album, in the seclusion of Foster's parents home in Mansfield OH, the band received a cease and desist for use of the name Honeymoon. With all existing merch and promotional materials rendered inert the band would suffer from a lack of direction until the beginning of 2012.

This would mark the beginning of Room & Board, but only after months of personal life changes, frustrations over recordings and the name change, and countless shows without a sign of a release date for their debut.

After a short hiatus, as well as the seemingly spontaneous existence of Hape's dream pop album PLACES, the now self titled Room & Board record was finally set to be released in Summer of 2013.

Pulling from many of the same influences that started the band (surf, new wave and post punk) R+B has many elements of motown, doo-wop, blues rock, and indie pop. The debut comes across as familiar and haunting while truly capturing the nuance and energy of those mid ohio fall sessions almost 2 years ago.
